About the acrylic crystal

Acrylic is what vintage dress watches used before mineral and sapphire became standard. It scratches more easily than glass, but it does not shatter, and light surface marks polish out with a soft cloth and a small amount of plastic polish.

We mention this upfront because it matters. If you want a crystal that resists scratches without maintenance, this is not the right piece.

Sizing and fit

36mm is a genuinely small case by current standards, and that is deliberate for a retro dress watch. It suits wrists from 6" to 7.25". On wrists above 7.5", it will read as intentionally undersized rather than proportional.

The 9mm profile slides under a shirt cuff without catching, which is the main reason to choose this over a thicker mechanical piece.
